On the 2nd April 2025, Norwich University of The Arts hosted a graduate talk panel for all of the FCP AND FMB course years. Bringing in six of their previous graduates to discuss their individual experiences within the fashion industry and their successful job roles, in order to guide and inspire us into our own future directions. Here's the two graduates that I found most inspiring..

UNDISCOVERED - Event Hosted in New York 2024

Kelly hosted his first pop-up event in the US, where he collaborated with Epic Studios a creative agency. This event included a pop-up shop, a panel talk and an after party to celebrate this massive achievement. Striving to build a community, where he can spread awareness on successful brand owners and upcoming ones and make friends as a whole.

Kelly.Undiscovered Entrepreneur

Kelly's personal journey had began after he graduated NUA, the Fashion Business and Marketing course. Venturing out  into the industry fields by discovering all of the opportunities out there for him, by using LinkedIn and reaching out to influential businesses/people for directional guidance. After a long haul of exploration, he had finally been offered a business opportunity in London.

This opportunity had opened up many doors for Kelly, as there is a lot of work availability in London for creative graduates waiting to emerge into the fashion world. After settling down in the city, gaining connections and saving up money, he began working for himself by starting a personal business. This is where he established his own magazine 'Undiscovered' this title specifies the purpose of the magazine as it vocalizes on emerging or underground brands that deserve further recognition. Acting as a great consultant and producing great service to the industry.

As a magazine owner there is a number of roles Kelly has to take on alone, keeping very busy to ensure all the daily tasks are met consistently. These tasks can include filming content weekly, handling emails/clients, researching, planning and working on partnerships. It's important for him to scroll on social media frequently on his free time, this allows him to be up to date with the latest trends, upcoming events, and be aware of what other brands are putting out daily for insights. Down below is his personal website, here you can purchase the digital or physical copy of the 'Undiscovered' magazine.

'DOECHII' - The Spring 2025 'DAZED' Issue

Photographed and styled by IB Kamara, head-to-toe Doechii is dressed in Miu Miu. Reflecting on her past, present and future she's been dreaming of, giving DAZED a glimpse of her inner world and the foundation she's been building for herself with the swamps of Tampa routes.

ANA CORONA - 'DAZED' Project Manager

Ana had graduated in Fashion Communications at NUA, but moved to London to further study for the Fashion Marketing degree course to fit her interests better. Just like Kelly, she had a long road of discovering her options in this fashion Industry. Previously working as a fashion assistant and moving onto working full-time for Culted, before gaining a life changing business opportunity to work for DAZED through LinkedIn. Taking on the role as a project manager was not an area she had experience in, going into it open - minded really allowed her to settle in this role perfectly and gain necessary knowledge.

As a project manager, Ana takes on a lot of fun roles as well as very important ones. Spending most of her time communicating and advising clients, budget planning, visiting events, handling production, traveling, collaborating, and managing a team. There has to be a creative and business balance in this role, handling both can be tricky at times but that's what makes it so fun by giving you the best of both worlds. As of right now, DAZED has been collaborating with H&M meaning that Ana gets to travel to many different cities very often for this collaboration by visiting many H&M stores all around the world.

It is very inspiring to see how both Kelly and Ana had flourished into their dream roles very early on as marketing majors, as that is the industry I am hoping to step into after graduation. Providing insights on their growth and how they got here is super motivational in understanding the steps needed to be made to get somewhere. Being involved, staying open-minded, putting your work out there and creating links in this industry is really helpful to get known and gain unexpected business opportunities.
