HOW DID I FIND OUT ABOUT BARBARA BAUMEL AND THE INFLUENCE SHE HOLDS
Monica Bellucci has always been one of my top favorite influential people in fashion, her timeless, elegant and defined closet had sparked my interests for her style. From watching her old cinematic films such as 'Malena' or 'The raffle' and seeing her face all over my Pinterest or the vintage Instagram accounts that I follow, had led me to wanting to find out more about her. A blend of "classic glamour and understated sophistication" her fashion sense really spoke that message well, thanks to her stylist Barbara Baumel.
I am glad that I began researching more on Barbara, it has opened up my knowledge on her as a stylist, her principles and her fashion experiences. She had a lot to offer throughout her astonishing career by creating an impact in fashion that won't be forgotten. She definitely deserves way more recognition by the fashion lovers outside the industry. Not many people know that she is the creator of many outstanding looks that we have seen before. Her focus on defining the bodies sculpture in complimentary ways and working with color to embrace skin tones is a powerful tool in bringing out the best in her models of all body types and backgrounds. Becoming a stylist is one of my side aims for the future if I decide to not follow in the Marketing/Journalism path as I believe using your imagination and ideas on different clients can be extremely personal but fun. It cultivates you as a stylist or designer really well and speaks volume on how you present your mind on other people, eventually clients that stand by your ideas will start to collect and want to work with you and I think that's pretty special when being appreciated for your work and having people wanting you to guide them too when they truly trust your ideas.
