ANNA WINTOUR 

Vogue's Editor-In-Chief, Anna had started her fashion career pretty early on after leaving school at sixteen to pursue her dreams. Having had the privilege's to work for magazines like New York, Home & Garden, Harper's & Queen and the British Vogue. Were great opportunities that built a pretty high statues for Anna, as her talents brought in more success to these companies especially both the British and American Vogue now. 

Known as one of the most powerful woman in fashion today, Anna has continuously stayed loyal and persistent within her position in Vogue since 1988. This being of the key factors of her explosive success conveyed through her commitment, determination and hard work that kept her in this role for that long.

She is also known for her intellectual decision-making in picking out the right people, brands, editorials and trends that go into the magazine wisely. Helping to shape the careers of many designers and upcoming brands/celebs, Anna knows when and who to give credit and recognition to and this has influenced people's perception of fashion as well due to her particular taste - making initiative.    

  

I've designed some collages to showcase some of Anna Wintour's most memorable fashion looks across the span of over two decades. Now she is very well known for wearing her signature bob cut and black glasses, she states that it adds to her sense of authority and mystique within her fashion world. 

Building on a signature look holds a lot of importance whilst being in the public eye, that is how you stand out and get recognized for your individuality this can be incredibly inspiring to one's admirers. Anna's style can be described as modern chic, glamorous and full of fun prints and colors. 

Anna Wintour's role in Vogue is inspiring to me as someone who is interested in journalism, her critical thinking and demeanor in her work life stays consistent and her intentions well thought through when raising a platform for other people. Putting in a lot of credibility by helping others gain more popularity and start the right trends. Personally I'd like to work for magazines such as ELLE, VOGUE, VANITY FAIR or any other emerging magazine brands that are more simple and striking. I prefer a straight forward and clean approach from photography to fashion, editorial and text. Working as an editor or being in a role of a manager in the fashion field is what strikes me the most as I like to help people and lead at times. Being a perfectionist and wanting to have more of a control in my work helps me to stay focused, but also appreciating working with others who prefer a more vivid/creative approach to fashion opens me up to more ideas. This is why I used Anna as one my top inspirations as her style of work is very similar to mine in these ways.
